Firestone Walker Brewing Company was shaped in 1996 in Santa Barbara County by David Walker and Adam Firestone, child of Brooks Firestone and incredible extraordinary grandson of Harvey Firestone who began the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. The brewery began the Firestone family grape plantation in Los Olivos, California, and moved to Paso Robles in 2001.
The organization has extended twice in six years. In 2001, they bought the previous SLO Brewing Company situated in Paso Robles and included 17 inside fermenters, four 500 bbl outside fermenters, a KHS barrel line, and a Krones packaging line. The organization later gained the Humboldt Brewing Company and altered the name to Nectar Ales in 2005. In 2006, its Firestone ale was named "Best Beer in America" by Men's Journal and in 2008, the organization delivered Union Jack, an India ale. Firestone Walker started the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival in 2011, which unites select breweries from around us and other nations that do not disperse toward the West Coast. In 2012, the organization offered Nectar Ales to Total Beverage Solution.
In 2015, Firestone Walker offered to Duvel Moortgat Brewery, a Belgian-worked brewery known for its Belgian solid ale.
Firestone Walker started canning beer in 2015, utilizing a German-designed KHS canning line supported by the Paso Robles brewery grounds which will deliver and fill 400 cans for every minute.
