In January 2016 our companions Txus and Eneko from Laugar Brewery (Basque Country) came over for a joint effort. It's turned out as an insane yet virtuoso triple Saison-ish with salt, rye, smoked whisky malts, and imbued with bourbon. While thinking of a name for this new pup we chose to join two symbols of our own societies, Txapela and Klompen. Txapela being the customary Basque headwear and Klompen being the conventional Dutch footwear. The beer is unpronounceable in both our languages now - presumably neither in yours - be that as it may, hello... 'that's De Molen for ya'.
