Stone 10th Anniversary IPA harkens back to our prior Anniversary Ales, with bountiful bouncing at numerous phases of the brewing cycle. Fittingly, the smell is over-the-top, with articulated piney and resiny jump flavors joined with tropical natural product esters and more unpretentious notes of toasted malts and liquor. Our Stone 10th Anniversary Ale tips the scales at 10% liquor by volume (ideal for a 10th commemoration beer), and has somewhat more shading and malt character than our other IPAs. Notwithstanding utilizing the new Summit jump assortment in the brewhouse to give the ground-breaking harshness, we revisited our records and discovered a portion of our preferred bounces throughout the long term, and utilized them to enhance this blend, including Chinook, Crystal, and enormous dosages of Simcoe in the dry-jump to give a tremendous, complex, piney, fruity and botanical jump character. This is an enormous beer, large in each sense: hoppy, malty, rich, and solid! Definitely fit for our strengths.
