Coordinated effort Black IPA with Triple Co Roast for The Coffee Project 2020. Ethiopian Aramo, Idaho 7 + Simcoe.
We went to visit the dazzling folks at Triple Co before the brew day and after incalculable cups of espresso, concluded that the Ethiopian Aramo was the ideal fit to sit close by the Idaho 7 dry hop, as they both give fragile, flower notes of tea and tonic.
The espresso was soaked for an aggregate of 60 hours and included a 2 stage option, with the ground and entire beans added at various temperatures to augment and control the flavor extraction. The outcome is a perfectly adjusted beer, with an exquisite roasty character and a refreshing completion, with a hint of lemon.
