Description

In England, in centuries past, it was not uncommon to offer sweet stout as a fortified pick-me-up for nursing mothers and the infirm. Although we cannot fully vouch for that claim, we certainly cannot deny that Invalid Stout is smooth and sweetly stout. Delicate fruitiness is imparted by our London yeast, and a fuller body by our addition of lactose and cocoa. A fine stout to complement dark desserts.
