"Chocolate Duchesse Cherry" is as its name proposes a chocolate and cherry beer. This beer is a tribute to Belgian expertise. We are known and perceived for our delightful beers and choice chocolates. We had the insane thought of blending the two and making them a remarkable item.

Brewed distinctly with genuine Belgian cherries (no flavor enhancers or cherry concentrates). The organic product originates from the district of Sint-Truiden in Limburg (Belgium).

The base beer of the "Chocolate Duchesse Cherry" is a red-earthy colored from West Flanders with blended fermentation. This beer has a high fermentation base and is then developed in oak barrels where it goes through a second wild fermentation. The tannins in the containers (huge barrel utilized for the storage of incredible Bordeaux wines) give Chocolate Duchesse Cherry its sweet, fruity, refreshing, and bittersweet taste.

When the base beer is prepared, the master brewer includes 20 Kg of "Kriek Gorsem" (Belgian sharp cherries) per 100 liters to the beer. For 6 months, the beer macerates with the cherries. The cherries give a fresh and fruity taste to the beer which has a sweet and harsh base.

After, we add cocoa to the beer which will relax (without going over the edge) the beer and give it a chocolate delayed flavor impression. the all out cycle takes 24 months."
